Equipment on board is replaced
Now it's time to switch to new equipment on board the buses. From week 41 2026, we will start rolling out new equipment on board for the driver. This will take place gradually until the end of the year.
It is new sales equipment for the driver that is initially tested in a smaller part of the traffic. When the test has been carried out and any deficiencies have been rectified, the equipment will then be distributed to all bus traffic in Västerbotten. The work began during week 41.
This is how I notice it as a traveler
You can read your pre-purchased ticket as usual in the ticket reader or buy a ticket from the driver. Remember that the equipment is brand new to the driver, so it is a good idea to show consideration and preferably buy your ticket in advance.
Corporate customer with a physical corporate card (the old corporate card)
Now it's time to review your business travel. If you are not the one who takes care of it, talk to your employer. As we started informing about in May 2025, the old company card is not valid on the new equipment that is now being rolled out on the buses in Västerbotten.
