Rally Sweden 2026
Here we have gathered information on how you can most easily move around and experience the World Rally Championship in the best way. Rally Sweden will take place on February 12-15, 2026. With a Rally ticket, you travel freely on Ultra's buses and the airport bus during the day the ticket is valid.
Welcome to Rally Sweden and Umeå with surrounding municipalities. The local buses in Umeå are called Ultra and are blue or green. During Rally Sweden, we also have extra buses called City Buses, which run every five minutes at rush hour between Vasaplan stop L (Umeå city centre) and The Red Barn Arena. With the buses, you can easily get to and from the best places in Umeå during the rally - much easier and safer than with your own car.
Your way to the rally
There are three places that are extra interesting during Rally Sweden. See also the places marked on the map image below.
- The Red Barn Arena - at the I20 area, Thursday's opening ceremony is held and the ending of each race day. There is also a lot of other things arranged from Thursday to Sunday.
- Umeå Service Park - At the Dragonskolan stop - where the vehicles are maintained before and after the special stages. Open every day.
- Shakedown Umeå City - training stage on the morning of Thursday 12 February. It starts at Grubbe and runs along Älvtået, Häradsvägen and the riverfront with the finish just before the old bridge in central Umeå. First start at 10:01. Spectator seats are available at Broparken - big screen and driver interviews, at Lundabron and along Häradsvägen - just west of Tvärån.
Find the audience seats for Shakedown
Broparken is located just west of Umeå city centre. It is walking distance from Umeå city centre.
The nearest bus stop to Lundabron is the Ängesvägen stop. Take line 1 towards Umedalen.
The nearest bus stop to Häradsvägen is the Hartvigsgatan stop. Take line 1 towards Umedalen. Line 1 departs every ten minutes towards Umedalen.
Do the following
With a Rally ticket, you travel for free (on the day the ticket is valid for) on all Ultra's buses, the airport bus and the extra city buses during February 12-15. Free bus travel applies on the day(s) that your rally ticket is valid. Children under the age of 15 travel for free with an adult with a valid rally ticket/festival pass.
If you do not have a Rally ticket and want to take the bus to the rally, the easiest way to buy your ticket is in the app Ultra - Umeås lokaltrafik. In addition to buying a ticket, you can use the app to check departure times, get traffic information and follow the bus in real time with the bus on a map function (does not apply to citybus).
Ticket tips
If you do not have a Rally Pass, get a visitor ticket ("Besöksbiljett"). Then you can travel freely within Umeå's public transport and with the airport bus. The options are 24 hours for SEK 80 or 72 hours for SEK 160. You can buy it in Ultra's app under the period category, at the Reseinfo offices and at our agents.
