Automatic Notifications for Possible Traffic Disruptions
Traveling by bus just got even smoother! In the tabussen.nu app, you can now choose to receive a notification whenever something happens in traffic that may affect your journey
Our latest app feature lets you receive tailored information about possible events in bus traffic that could be relevant to you. You decide which stops, lines, and departures you want updates for. We’ll handle the rest!
Favourite Stops
In the "Stops" tab, mark a stop as a favourite. This not only gives you a convenient shortcut, but also ensures that you automatically receive information if any disruption occurs that affects that stop or the lines passing by it. You can choose to include all lines serving the stop or only specific ones.
Favourite Journeys
Make a journey search and select the departure you’re interested in. Under "Journey notifications", you can choose to receive disruption alerts for that specific departure:

Only if something happens on that particular day – for example, if you’re planning a one-time trip

Recurring traffic updates – for example, if you commute on that departure every day
Notifications Based on Single Tickets You’ve Purchased
When you buy a single ticket for a specific departure, you’ll automatically receive notifications about traffic information that affects that departure on that day. But remember, if your plans change, you can still use the ticket for another departure on the same route.
This feature applies to bus departures in Västerbotten operated by Länstrafiken Västerbotten. For this feature to work, you need to allow the app to send you notifications. You can turn this setting off at any time. We also recommend always having the latest version of the app installed.
