Student Discount

Students 26 years and older have a special tariff called student discount. The discount is only given on 30-day season tickets. For other ticket types, the age category adult applies. Students 20-25 years old travel on the youth fare (20-25 years old)

Period tickets for students over 26 years of age are sold on the Ultras app, My Pages and the travel information office at Vasaplan or NUS. Select the category student. Student discount is given on 30-day period tickets.

This is required to get a student discount 26 years and older 
To travel with a student discount, you need to have a student ID from Mecenat, WeStudents or Studentkortet/stuk.co in the respective app with the student travel symbol. Remember that you must have a valid student ID for the entire period that the purchased ticket is valid. It is not enough that the student ID was valid when you bought the ticket. How much do you have to study to get a student price
You must study at a university, college, or other adult education that entitles you to study funds from CSN. To receive the student award, you must study for at least 10 consecutive weeks with a study rate of at least 50% during the semester (15 Higher Education Credits/semester).

Student travel symbol 
A valid student travel symbol must be visible on your student ID. The color of the symbol varies depending on the semester and the black color is an example. Here you can see the student travel symbol:
